Hey @ritzy. The iPhone 16 needs a USB-C connection, as will all newer iPhones after this one. Currently Square only offers headphone jack and lightning magstripe readers. Therefore, until Square releases a USB-C magstripe reader, you will need to purchase a USB-C to Lightning adaptor.
