Need More Fields for Appointments

I am trying to set up a way to track limo appointments.  Problem I'm facing is that I need custom information for each new appointment, specifically the pick-up and drop-off location.  This isn't always the customer's address, so I need two fresh location fields for every appointment.  As well, my customers book often by calling or texting me, so I need to be able to do this through the app and not through the customer booking online themselves.

 

Does Square Appointments have this customization option?  Or do I have to just type in this information into the "Notes" section?

I see this is your first post here, welcome to the Community!

 

There isn’t currently a way to add custom fields to your online booking site. However, with Square Appointments you can automatically send digital forms once a new appointment is booked.

Here's an example of a test form I've created with mandatory custom fields for pick-up and drop-off.

To get started with digital forms:

 

  1. Go to Contracts on your Online Square Dashboard
  2. Create a contract template for a location by going to Templates > Create a template.
  3. Fill out the template and contract details, then click Save.
  4. Once the Contract template is created and saved, go to your Square Appointments Dashboard > Select Settings > Communications.
  5. Under Forms, click Add a form to add one of the templates you’ve previously created and saved. Click Continue.
  6. Choose your preferences for Customers and Services, then click Save.

 

You can go back to Digital contracts at any time to view, edit or remove your contract templates for appointments.
