My organisation does not collect GST - however we've set up some items with GST in error - reversal?

Hello, 

We are a not for profit sports club, and are not registered for GST. When we've set up some of our items/locations, we have incorrectly configured Square to record GST in each transaction. 

 

I've disabled this now. We are integrated with QuickBooks online.

 

Most previous transactions have GST included in the total, which is incorrect, and I'm ending up with a 'GST Collected' amount in QuickBooks entries.  Any suggestions on how to apply 'GST Not Applicable' to all transactions that have already occurred?

At this time, Square is unable to edit already completed transactions. My advice here would be to reach out to your accountant for steps to take in order to adjust your books. 

 

 

Something else I can recommend is to file a feature request here. This will help our product team get visibility and track other Sellers with similar interests in your request. 

 

Important: When submitting a request, make sure to include the desired feature and provide the details of how this feature will help your business succeed (how would you use it and what you expect from it).
