I purchased the reader in early 2019. I used it successfully once or twice, however, in the last two months, it hasn't been working. Yesterday a friend loaned me her reader that didn't have a chip reader on it. It was an old reader with just the swipe. I used it and it worked. I can't get my chip reader to work and would like a refund.

Try the troubleshooting steps listed in the link above ^ and also check to see if your device you're using with it is compatible.
Refunds can only be made within 30 days of purchase so it sounds like you'd be past that timeframe now.
It doesn't seem right for a small business owner like myself, who uses your service sporadically, to be given only a 30 day guarantee on your product.
As I mentioned, the trouble is not with my phone or the app. Another reader worked fine. It's the reader with the chip that I paid $35.00 for.
If anyone is reading this, I don't recommend spending the money for this product.
@BillieAdler Is it the older chip reader that plugs into the phone?
We actually don't sell that reader anymore. Is it charged? It has to be charged with the micro USB cable that comes in the box with it but sometimes people aren't aware of that.
Yes. I charge it 24 hours before I need it.
I called your customer service and they were able to help me so I'm good to go.
