My Square System is NOT saving the customer name when they pay cash

I just had a customer that spent $27.43. (I use an iPad and total preconfigured items on it).
 
I totaled her purchase, collected her CASH payment, clicked on the $27.43 amount on the screen entered the first part of her name and as it appeared on the screen from the database, I clicked on it then saved the transaction.
 
Now when I go back to TRANSACTIONS and look at that specific sale, her name is NOT on it.I need to figure this out and fix it so we can keep track of all customers purchases.
 
Is there something I am doing wrong?

Hello @JHrusky check out this post for more info about adding customers to a sale. I can't picture exactly what steps you may/or may not be taking based on your description, but see if something in the post above matches your current procedures for checking out.
