Multiple appointments in one invoice

Hi. I am a dog walker based in the UK. I want to send an invoice to a customer for the 4 separate daily walks for her dogs next week. I can see that I can send an invoice for each walk, but I would like to send one invoice which totals all four of them. 

It seems silly that I can't see how to do something so simple. Surely this is something which almost everyone using appointments would find useful. 

Is this possible? And if not can it please be made possible? Because it's going to create quite an additional admin faff creating them all from scratch. If that's necessary then I suspect I will just use my business bank account to create the invoices rather than square.

I don't know if I've explained myself very clearly here. Just to clarify. I am hoping to send the invoice from the appointments app itself.

Hi @LaurieT - Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Square Seller Community👋

I reached out to the Square Appointments Support Team and they let me know that you should be able to check out with an Invoice, and also view all sent Invoices, through the Appointments app. If you are not seeing it at checkout, you may just need to change what options you have for check out. Then to view sent Invoices, it's going to be under more > invoices.

Thank you. I realise I can create an invoice through checking out in the appointments app. But as far as I can see it doesn't allow me to add additional appointments for that customer into the same invoice. I don't want to send separate invoices for each appointment. I want to send a week's worth for example, in one weekly invoice.

I reached out to the Appointments team again and they let me know that this is not currently possible through Square Invoices. There isn't a way to "merge" tickets with Appointments. Although this feature isn’t currently available with Square, it’s a great idea and I can see how it would be beneficial to your business.

If you would like, you can also submit your product suggestion to our Ideate Board in the Seller Community. Our Product Teams keep their eyes on this form as they are constantly working to improve our products and features.

I realise this may not be an option as it means using a separate app but you could use the Square Invoices app to generate the invoice with either preset items or a custom amount with the details of each walk in the notes.

Yes please. I initially searched the question on here and found that someone had asked for similar a couple of years ago. To be honest it seems such a useful thing I can't really believe it hasn't already become a function. I don't think any customer really wants 5 separate invoices every week if they have a daily service booked. So I will be using my banking app with Anna Money to send these until this function does appear. Because if I'm creating from scratch I may as well do it there.
