Modifiers not working

I have have multiple Modifiers and those are attached to menu items and to a menu - BUT they don's show up on the POS?    Some do when you EDIT a item in the cart?   


Can't figure out why there not working.  

Any help would be appreciated since Square is only open M-F

Hello @blakeadesigns !

 

That's interesting you're having problems with modifiers on your Point of Sale. I make extensive use of the Modifiers and every time I attach one to an item it shows almost automatically in the PoS.

 

Are you setting up your Modifiers via the web dashboard or through the PoS itself? If it's on the PoS are you noticing the modifier issue on that same system or on other terminals? (You could always put the PoS on your phone and log in to verify things, too!)

 

Are you making/just made multiple changes to the modifiers or is this an ongoing issue?

 

Chances are the PoS just isn't sync'ing with the servers correctly. I've had this happen once when I did a massive change to my items and menu. All you hopefully have to do is log out of the app, force close it, reopen it, and log back in. That forces a sync with the Square servers.

 

Please let us know if this does or doesn't solve the problem!
