Modifiers not showing up on square app

is there any way to get modifiers that allow text to show up on the square app? They show up online but not on the app.

Do you want the text modifiers from Online Orders to display on the order when you pull it up on the Point of Sale? Or do you want the ability to enter text modifiers when entering a new sale on the Point of Sale?

thank you for your quick response! 

The online orders text modifiers show up on the pos. However we cannot make text modifiers on the pos which we are hoping to be able to do. 

For some context these are for cake orders- so when someone calls or comes in the store to order a cake  we need to use the text modifiers to input the message they want written on top of their cakes. Right now we just put the message into the notes but unfortunately the notes don't show up on order reports which is what we use to view our orders.

Our team is working hard to bring parity to features across our platform. However, at this time text modifiers currently work on Square Online and Square Online Checkout Links. We hope this changes soon.
