Marking off food as they come out: restaurant

Hi 

How do you set up square terminal so that when food is cooked in the kitchen and comes out to be served, the waitress can mark it as complete on the square terminal?

Hi @park1, thanks for posting on the Community - and apologies about the delayed response !

You can enable Coursing in the device management settings of your Dashboard to help manage the flow of bills and let the kitchen know when to hold or send dishes. You'll find all the relevant information about course management on our Support Centre.

In addition, you can also utilize Square KDS to mark an order or items of an order as complete once sent away. You'll find more information about completing orders on KDS here. If you don't have KDS set up yet, you can review our KDS Guide.
