Made a super-dumb mistake: forgot to upload offline transactions

Totally spaced out and forgot to upload 37 transactions, totalling $1,487.   Transactions took place two weeks ago and were at a special event with no cell/internet.

Got the flu that night, stayed in bed for a few days and just blew it.  Very little info taken from those who paid, so I'm assuming I'm out of luck, but was wondering if anyone else has ever come up with a way to re-run or figured out who the payers were.

I have no doubt they would be fine on being charged, but I don't have a way to do that and don't have a way to know who they are.

This a business amswer not a technical amswer. I would charge the transactions. do not spend money. The calls will come in. Admit there was technical problems(truth because of lack of internet.) inquire from customers about services requested. explain info was lost due to tech problem. if you can continue services  to them then proceed forward. if time for service has passed or they want a refund then do so in both situations. Ethical to do . take responsabilty and appoligize and change behavior and fix problem for future.

Thanks.  I agree with you 100% here and would definitely hold up delivery.  The only problem is that the services and products were all already delivered on the same day.

they know then if services and products were delivered they owe. 99 % of them will do right thing and pay. Your customers actually want you to succeed, especialy if they purchased from you already .the others just got to chalk up to lesson learned and some people are not good.
