Looking for Unlimited Membership Feature

I run a zoo in California and plan to offer a yearly membership where visitors pay once and get unlimited visits for a year. We use Square POS and can sell the pass, but can Square track member check-ins and usage, or is a manual or third-party solution needed?

We don't have a feature that supports unlimited memberships. I suggest checking out the App Marketplace to see if there's an integration partner that offers a service like this.

Hi @_Violet I am not too familiar with the subcriptions feature in square but don't you think utilizing that feature would help track number of visits?

We faced a similar challenge while researching digital membership systems for visitor-based organizations. From what I’ve seen, Square works well for selling memberships and handling payments, but unlimited-entry memberships usually need an extra layer for validation, QR check-ins, and active membership tracking. A lot of zoos, museums, and nonprofits seem to connect Square with a third-party membership platform like membership anywhere to manage digital passes, check-ins, renewals, and visitor history more smoothly. QR-based digital membership card can make entry much faster and easier for staff as well. We tested a few integrations before building our own workflow, and the experience was much better compared to handling everything manually. Hope you find a setup that works well for your zoo!
