Sorry about the hassle! Disconnecting, and reconnecting would be a good troubleshooting step to check out next. Log in to your Square Online dashboard, then select Sales Channels > Facebook Shop > Disconnect Account. Next, reconnect by following these steps. Please let us know how you go 🙂

Hi @Marc78, sorry to hear you are running into this issue! So that I have a better understanding of what's happening, are none of the items appearing in your Facebook & Instagram Shop or are they simply not updating with new stocks/items?

Hmm, that's quite strange. I think our first step would be to make sure that Square is connected to your Facebook page and your Instagram page, and that the Pixel is fully installed. Were you able to follow the steps outlined in our article? Did you run into any error message when connecting the two? 

 

It might be worth disconnecting and reconnecting them again as well to make sure everything is set.

Thank you for the reply. It appears there is a problem with me having a personal account that admins the Business account....😩 the pixel is on my Buisness Facebook but is not talking to my personal account at present because of the admin .

I'm so sorry to hear that @Marc78! It's something the Facebook Support team should be able to look into for you as they would have more visibility into the Pixel settings and making sure it's in the right account. You should be able to contact them directly here

They do if I manually put them in. However this will not work for Instagram shopping.

@Marc78 Hi,

Have your items ever appeared on facebook?

 

Or have you just created the pixel?

The issue is that Square creates the pixel on your personal id and not on the business manager / business page which seems to fit with one of your posts.

Hi, I am also having this issue and cannot find why it's happening.

My items were previously syncing with FB and IG but have stopped.

My pixel is fully installed and working. 

Can't get to the bottom of it. Help!

Hiya

I've tried everything. Thinking of disconnecting them and starting again but don't even know how to do that LOL 

At a bit of a dead end. Not happy with my website and not happy that it no longer connects to FB/IG.

 

Not sure what to do???
