Item visablity

Hi,

 

Is there an issue with square online currently? 

 

When editing items and adding to my website, they are not appearing.

 

I've double checked and the items are marked visible and assigned to a category, in square dashboard and strangely they are visible if i go to the link directly, but not showing in their relevant categories and not searchable within the website.

 

This is only occurring on items added today

 

Update - I have tested and I can create new items which become visible immediately - but any existing items i make visible are not appearing

 

Any advice?

I am having the opposite problem! Existing items, trying to make them unavailable but they’re still visible with a 404 error message. No help forthcoming for me either!

Thanks for your response, Yes I saw your thread and thought there must be a problem with visibility status in general today. 

 

tried different browsers, devices, cleared cookies, the usual. 

 

every setting is as it should be but item visibility is incorrect.

 

To update on my previous post - new items created are not appearing visible either now.

Hi @David1927 @Springwood1, sorry for the delayed response and to hear you both ran into this. 

 

We did have a service disruption earlier in the week which would have caused similar issues as you've described, but our engineers have now resolved that issue, there is some more information here on our status page. 

 

It sounds like it may be unrelated if these issues are still ongoing for you both, if so, please let me know here exactly what you are experiencing with your site as of today and share a link to your site so that I can take a closer look at both! Thanks.

Hi, I’ve made a selection of items unavailable on my shop but they are all still visible from the shop all menu. I’ve tried a new browser in case it’s my cookies, but they’re all still there and when clicked on there is a 404 page not found message. They are definitely made unavailable (on all websites/locations) not just hidden. I’ve checked in the item inventory. Anyone know why?

I posted separately about having item visibility problems on my website, but thought this is worth a reply here. 

 

I've just tried making items unavailable on my website, and I'm encountering the same problem you have. Still visible within categories on the website but get a 404 when clicking on them.

Thank you for the response.

 

The issue seems partially resolved, any items I have added today are visible, so far.

 

Although, any items i deleted yesterday are still showing on my store, but when clicked lead to a 404 error.

Sometimes items can get stuck due to indexing issues and our Square Online team helps get them cleared, can you share a link to the site here @David1927 and let me know which items should be deleted? Thanks!

I managed to get all the items that should be visible correct and all the items unavailable correct now, apart from one item that seems stuck.

 

it's deleted from my square inventory but still on the website: although give a 404 error so its not really there but appears within the categories, if that makes sense.

Just replying to an old thread as I have the same problem again.

 

New items added to my website not appearing in categories they are assigned to, or through website search, but visible when I use the direct URL.

 

last time this happened you were able to get the site/items reindexed.. is this possible again?

Can you share an example of an item on your website that isn't appearing as it should, please? I'll take another look and escalate if needs be.

Thanks for the reply.

 

I toggled all affected Items from yesterday between unavailable and visible again and this seems to have worked.

 

All new items I have made today are visible straight away. Ill keep an eye on it.
