Item sales filter bug

When running an item sales report and filtering by a select number of items, if you start on a day and filter based on items and switch to a day on which one or more of those items didn't sell, that item will be removed from the filter so that if you then switch back to a day that did have a sale of the disappeared item, it won't show it because it's no longer in the filter.  It's easier to watch a screen recording - keep an eye on the number of items filtered while switching between days. When scanning through a period of time to see how many of a particular set of items sold, this is a problem because you have to keep adding an item back to the filter unless there was a sale of that item every single period.

I want to look into this further. Can you please confirm if you had any items from "Group Salad" on 06/06/2024?

6/6 did not have a group salad but 6/3 did.

I've just watched your video, and I believe it would be beneficial for our Support Team to investigate further. Interestingly, it seems that this behavior is expected, based on my own account, but it does appear counterintuitive.

It's worth bringing this to the attention of our Support Team, as they might be able to submit a ticket for our engineers to examine how these filters operate more closely.
