Item Library Searching Problems - Improvements Needed

Hey Community,

 

We are having problems searching and locating items via the following platforms:

 

-dashboard

-retail on iOS ( from the main screen - this is great as shown in the video. The issue is searching in the inventory section)

-register

 

Video attached.

 

 

On all bar the Retail main screen search on iOS, everything else can be quite difficult and cumbersome finding your specific item which was typed in.

 

For example:

I search for ‘bread bag’

 

Dashboard, Register, and inventory in retail for iOS all generate non specific, alphabetised results with any instances of a single word typed.

 

only iOS Retail main screen comes up with intuitive, and specific search results.

 

Will this be improved ?

Thank you for writing in, and including this detailed video showing the issue you're seeing with your library. I see how frustrating the process of finding an item is on your Register.

 

While I wasn't able to replicate this on my test account, using the Square Register, and Retail app on my iPhone, I'm wondering if you'd be able to check that your devices are on the most recent software update available.
