Item Library Loading Issues

For the past 2 months, we have been having issues with our item library loading speed. It takes a long time to load items on to a purchase order. They system has to think and spin it's wheel for 10 to 30 seconds if it loads at all. We got a lot of the Oh No Something went wrong on our end or the Problems loading page - Wait or Exit. We have contacted tech support but they want to blame it on our upload speed. We run at about 3mbps for upload. What do you all run at and are you experiencing the same problems.

Hey All4Kids,

There's a possibility that's your upload speed is an issue as 3 Mbps would be the minimum needed according to the FCC's minimum standard however, there's many other things to consider and they all contribute to the performance of your network.  File size, type of internet connection (DSL, Cable, etc.), any other online activity in your location using the same network the same time you're trying to do work, age of your home network equipment (including wiring and router or modem) and even the possibility of your service provider throttling speeds at certain times.  Note, the spinning wheel is normally a sign of a slow internet connection.  Just a thought here, you may want to consider checking with your service provider - they may be able to test a few things for you.

We thought that too but we run 2 different computers and one has fewer issues than the other. As far as the upload speed, we don't really have a choice in the matter. There is only 1 internet provider in my building and they will not guarantee a faster speed. Even if I pay for a higher speed, they said they cannot promise my upload speed will increase unless I pay for some ridiculously high p[riced special service.

Hello there @All4Kids 👋

Something I would like to mention here is to try and make sure you are not on a WiFi connection as 3 Mbps can become very unstable these days via a wireless connection and this may cause high latency and it may result in the "Oh no" errors.

I could also recommend checking if a mobile hotspot may be a better choice than the internet in your building.

Let us know if you have other questions. I hope this information is helpful!
