It reads 'No Sales Taxes Exist' on my dashboard, and yet my receipt includes GST.

I am a hobby seller of my independently published books, and so I have chosen not to apply for an ABN.

It reads 'No Sales Taxes Exist' on my dashboard, and yet my sample receipt clearly includes GST. I cannot disable the tax, as that has already been done. So please explain why my test receipt includes GST.
