Was wondering if anyone was experiencing similar issues or had a resolution to the following situation:
I currently operate our Square POS on the Square Dual Screen Stand (versus as an app on an iPad or tablet) -- we recently began having issues when attempting to do daily pay in/pay out transactions for our nightly deposits.
When "Pay in/out" is selected, the system freezes up, screen goes black and it reverts back to the checkout screen - we have been unable to do proper pay in/pay out or deposits as a result (instead relying on just physically keeping track of deposits with pen and paper)
We have done all of the usual troubleshooting (restarting, updating, etc. etc.) - but I have been unable to find evidence that this is an issue for anyone else.
Hoping to resolve this in a timely manner - all other functions are normal. Many thanks!

So sorry to hear that you are continually experiencing this issue with your Point of Sale. You are using the Square Register, correct? If so, I know you may have tried some of these troubleshooting steps - but we recommend following this resource, its proven to resolve most of the issues you are describing.
However, if you try all of this and are still encountering the Register freezing, we recommend flagging this over to our Support Team directly. They can take a deep dive with you make sure this issue gets resolved.
I'm having the same issue. Software is up to date, Version 4.25.0016.
