We are new to square but have issue with the phone number transposing from the database to the reciept screen. In the customer database it acknowledges the Australia code +61 and adds the phone number of 455 455 455 (actual number is 0455 455 455.
When selling an item and you add the customer from the database and then charge the item, the receipt screen has cut off the + and just shows the 61 455 455 455 which is invalid and the send button is greyed out. Any ideas?

While we're not able to look into your Square account via this forum, I took a look on our test account - it appears that if you simply enter a customer's phone number in the regular Australian format (eg 0455 455 455) in the customer directory listing then it generates this number in the receipt field and allows it to send 👍
So if you edit your directory contact phone numbers to this format then phone numbers should properly generate to send receipts. Hope this helps, if you'd like our support team to look further into your account though please call in on 1800 760 137!
