Issue with item prep time on website

Hey! I have a website with Square, have for over a year. I have recently been adding a ton of made to order items with a prep time of 2 weeks. Now, I went in to add more of those made to order items today and my drop-down menu to set prep is time is no longer there. It just says:

Which is set to 1 day for my RTS items. I need this to be changeable for different items, and have had no issues with this option as I have added 500+ listings in the past week. Why am I suddenly having this issue? Not seeing any option to fix it on my item listing page or fulfillment page, and it is frustrating since I have poured hours into listing things in the last week or so without issue.

Sorry to hear you having a frustrating experience with editing your items. Can you please confirm your website URL, and let me know an item or two that is not allowing you to change the prep time?

Hi! My website is www.lucygoosedesigns.com

I have the majority of those items disabled at the moment as they are not showing the correct time frames. If you look at my category "made to order custom graphic apparel", the ones "Retro Teaching Is A Work of Heart" are where the issues began. Before that, you notice each listing states:

I did notice that they have now added a feature where I can go back in after making the listing, and edit the item prep time. Which I did last night, with about 10 listings, and they all reverted back to the default after a few minutes. I then went into my item library from Square (not Square Online) and tried to change it from there. It seems to have stuck for the next few listings that way (all 5 of the "leopard lightning bolt" designs). But the notice is gone, and when you add it to your cart it just says "available on our next business day, January 20th". 

I went back on to my Square Online and edited the item prep time for a listing I had made unavailable, "Retro Coffee, Teach, Repeat" , and reactivated it just to test the theory. It has again reverted to the default. So I am thinking the only work around is to edit it from my Square item library and no longer my Square Online item listing... but it does not post the 2 week notice which is frustrating for both me and my customers. I really need a better solution.

Thanks, @RebeccaPeters for the additional information. My apologies that I'm just now getting to reply as I have been out of the office.

 

Can you confirm if the same issue is still occurring? It looks like we had some intermittent sync issues last Thursday, and the issue you described sounds like it could have been caused by the sync delays. 

 

@Berolina were you also trying to edit around the same time frame, or is the prep time also changing back to default for you still?

Hi @RebeccaPeters and @Berolina 

 

I have a new update from the engineers. There was an issue unrelated to a sync delay which was causing the prep times not to save correctly. All problems should be resolved now, though. 

 

Can you both let me know if you still have trouble with editing your prep times?

I think mine is fixed! I just checked and the drop down menu is back. I'm currently updating the times on the listings I need the two weeks on. Thanks!!
