We’re experiencing an issue with the Square app on our iPads. When our bartenders are going through the cash-out process, they’re unable to close the on-screen keyboard popup. This issue persists even after we’ve tried restarting the app, restarting the iPad, and ensuring we have the latest version of Square installed.
Could you please assist us in resolving this issue? It’s causing major disruptions in our closing process, and we’d appreciate any guidance or steps we might be missing.

@FlaskWhich “Square App” are you using? We need that as a starting point. Also, you might not have been aware that your video had audio recording as well. Whoever was making it dropped an f-bomb for everyone to hear. LOL

I'm not currently on-site. When they add a cash out entry, the on-screen keyboard pops up, but they’re unable to close it, which disrupts the workflow.
I’m not familiar with the exact development stack that Square uses, but this issue seems related to a potential z-index or focus trapping problem within the cash out/in ending drawer UX.
I will attempt to get another (F-bomb) free video later today. In the meantime, if anyone else has experienced this or has any tricks - please let me know!
Ok. So far I’ve started a drawer. Done a few cash/in-out transactions. I even hit the End cash report button to enter the ending balance. The keyboard popped up in all cases, but I could enter numbers and click the appropriate save buttons to continue. So far, nothing has totally covered the screen like yours is doing.
I’ll admit that for now I’m only using my personal iPad that is not in a Stand 2 like the ones at work. So, that might be the issue. I can’t tell yet.

We are currently using the 6.49.2 Version of the Square App and have the iPadOS 17.6.1.
