Is there a way to sell an item to an invoice?

We are a movie theatre and we have folks that like to pay for tickets for others but want an invoice. WE have to report numbers each night and need to track the sales for each showing but be able to send the ticket to an invoice to hold. I would like to batch then send a bill. Is there a way to do this?

Just to make sure we are on the same page, are you looking to add an open ticket to the invoice for the customers?
