Is there a log file which records all changes?

We are having issues with stock levels not being correct. I want to see if the stock we receive is going to the correct item.

 

Is there a log file I could look at which shows all item updates when I do them manually (rather than uploading a spreadsheet)?

Hi @alansh, sorry for the delay and to hear you're having troubles with your inventory. 

 

Do you use the general Point of Sale or are you using Square for Retail? 

 

Tracking stock history is only available on Square for Retail plus - unfortunately, there's no way to track stock amendments via Point of Sale. 

 

You could run a test with one item just to check if the stock is or isn't allocating correctly and then this may have to be a case of doing a stock count and manually adjusting anything that is incorrect.
