Hi,
I want to set the price of my item so that it comes out at a nice round number after GST has been applied. eg. 1 widget costs $10 (including GST), so the price needs to be 9.090909 so that when someone orders 100 of them, it comes out at a nice round $1,000.
How can I do this? If I try and enter the extra digits, Square is just truncating my price to 9.09
Thanks,
Tom
Hey @WildSt,
Thanks for getting in touch.
While it's not possible to add fractions of a cent to Square transactions, the standard way of achieving what you're describing would be to list your prices as GST inclusive, rather than adding it on to the total cost of your item.
To do this you can edit your taxes via your Dashboard and set GST as inclusive rather than added on. Make sure to hit "Save" when you're done. GST inclusive pricing is the standard way of implementing GST into your prices in Australia.

Hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions!

Brilliant, thanks Sheamus. That's what I was after.
