Is Square register compatible with mPop till?

Hi

I am looking at getting the square register. We use an mPop till drawer which is Bluetooth. Is it possible to use this with then register?

if not what cost is a small drawer?

Yup it will work via USB (not via Bluetooth) so you’ll need to use a cable. 

the hub for the register is included in the box so ready to go.

Hey, oh that's good news, I was sure I read somewhere the cash drawer did not work over USB. Before I order the register, can you confirm you have used this configuration?

Just to reiterate, I would like to use the Star mPop cash drawer with the Square Register.

Hey @Dirky - I’ve not used this configuration, but have used usb stuff with the register. 

Just for confirmation though the mPop is also listed under cash draws for the register buy square here too as well as for receipt printers.

I have the mpop cash drawer and Square register but cannot get it to workZ when I plug the usb to usb cable in the printer is never found in printer settings.

I have tried a new usb cable and it is the same.

Should this be connected via usb to usb?

In order to get it to work you need a usb a to usb b cable and HAVE to update the firmware on the till. Otherwise it will not work, took me two weeks and three usb cables to work this out!
