Invoice tranactions not showing up in quickbooks

We do some invoicing from our square point of sales and square dashboard but when we get paid for those and at the end of the day when all the transactions get sent to quickbooks they dont showup with the other tranactions made that day so my quickbooks record is not matching my square transactions in square...    is there a way to make sure these invoice transaction get included with everything else when the info gets sent to my quickbooks

Hey @DutchGarden.  Since Quickbooks creates and maintains the connection between it and Square, your best bet here is to start with them.  To me, this sounds like an issue with the configuration of the link between the two, which Quickbooks is responsible for setting up.  I’m not saying that this won’t ultimately be an issue that Square has to resolve, but that is best accomplished by the QB folks identifying the problem and then by them working with Square to resolve it.  Obviously, all transactions no matter where they are created should be synced.  But QB needs to look at the integration first to be sure that they aren’t missing something.

Oh, and when you talk to QB support, don’t let them off the hook too easily.  By that I mean that if they say “oh, this is a Square problem” without giving you specifics and concrete reasons, then you can safely assume that they haven’t really even looked into it.  In my multi-year dealings with that company, I think they train their support folks to say this just to get us off the phones.  The thing to remember here is that Intuit/QB is using Square’s APIs to manage the integration and syncing.  So, ultimately they are responsible for figuring out the problem then communicating with Square to resolve it.

Best of luck.

Hey there @Jenthom08. Square provides the APIs the QB uses to record account activity. If QB is not recording checks (and possibly other payment types) then you’ll need to contact their support folks to figure out what the problem is.

I know that the same as my best answer posted for this original question in the thread. I’m sorry to say my answer for this is not any different. Intuit/QB is where the problem lies.
