Invoice into open ticket

Is it possible move an open invoice to the POS?  We are looking at a new reservation software that is linked to square, but the way the deposits payments are handled is by creating a square invoice.  The remaining balance which is due the day of the event will be an open invoice.  Guests may add items to their order on site.  Curious if we can take the open invoice for the remaining balance, push it into an open order and then add to it and close it out in our POS.

@macken39 You can manage invoices on the point of sale system.  I am not sure if this will work exactly with your use case, but I don't see why you couldn't do this.  Here is the article on editing an invoice even after a deposit/partial payment.
