Inventory Report as at 31.12.22

Hi,

Is there anyway I can please run an inventory / stock listing report as at 31.12.22.

I was overseas and unable to run it at this time and our year end is 31.12.22 and have since had many sales.

I need to record our cost of goods sold accurately as at 31.12.22 so hoping you can please assist.  We do not have the full Square subscription but hoping I can somehow obtain this report - would so appreciate your assistance in this matter!

Many thanks,

Hi there @BalmoralPnC ,

Looks like this is a retail plus feature only:

There is a free trial, perhaps you could join it to get you out of a pickle ?

Alternatively you could do a current inventory and sales since 31/12 and do a bit of spreadsheet or manual trickery (depending on no of items) to get what you need.

Thank you very much!  I've been able to do that and obtain the COGS report as at 31.12.22.  Is there an actual inventory report that I can run from Square also match this on the asset/balance sheet side?

Thanks in advance,

Sacha

Hey there @BalmoralPnC,

To my knowledge, even when subscribed to the Square Retail Plus plan, there isn't a report that shows historical inventory count data. However, the Stock History feature may be helpful in obtaining stock-level data. I'm not 100% sure that it will show the exact stock you had on hand at the time but it will show you your stock movements over a specific period of time.

If this isn't useful please let me know! I'll be happy to reach out to our Retail Team for additional recommendations here.

P.S. Appreciate you sending those Support Article links, @lawnbrook! 😊
