INVENTORY FILTER FOR "LOW STOCK ALERT" MALFUNCTIOINING

For the last 2 weeks I have observed that while viewing my items on Dashboard, on a Windows 10 PC with the latest Chrome, that the "Low Stock Alert" filter is malfunctioning.  Many items that are not low stock are coming up in the list. I am fluent with the low stock settings, and have depended on this function from Square to place weekly orders for the last 3 years. This problem is new and recent. I have checked that each item improperly being listed, is in fact is setup correctly for the low stock alert to be activated. For example an item that has 6 in stock, with a low stock alert of 2, is showing up in the filtered list showing "6". The typical color shaded circle around this number is not shown. @_Violet

Hi there, @MountainHouse - Sorry for not getting to this post sooner. I'm just now seeing that you tagged me here.

While we can certainly help with general questions via the Seller Community, @Stacelyn24 is correct - it is difficult to pinpoint what may be happening without looking at your account with you, which we aren't able to do here in the Seller Community. Anything account-specific or possible bugs should go to our Support Team for assistance.

If you haven't already, please reach out to Support directly by logging into your Square account and heading here. If our Support Team is unable to resolve this issue themselves, they can also create a support ticket for our engineers so they can take a look into this.

I appreciate your patience and understanding surrounding this issue 🙏 I'm sorry I'm not able to help further myself.

@_Violet Hi there, per your instructions I reached out to support. The agent was nice, but said that it would have to be sent to a higher level, and that they would contact me by email. Well, the email came and all it contained was scripted directions on how to use "low stock alerts". I had clearly explained to the agent that I was well versed with stock alerts, and that I had verified each affected SKU was properly configured, and also that this is a new issue. How can we get this escalated to someone who will take this seriously? The issue still persists, and seems to be getting worse. New SKUS I made today are also displaying the same issue.

@_Violet Hi there, still no solution... The agent who has emailed me had still not escalated this issue. Can you please look into this? The issue is steadily getting worse... Thanks

Hi there again, @MountainHouse - Sorry to hear that you're still experiencing this issue with low stock alerts.

At this stage, we'll need you to continue working with our Support Team so they can file a ticket to get our engineers' eyes on this. Our Support Team will need to gather some information from you that will be included in the support ticket.

Could you please check your email to see if the agent you were working with has requested any info from you that they'll need in order to get this escalated?

Thanks!

We've always had a couple items show up in our "low stock alerts" but recently several new ones have appeared. These were items that were created from taking the "duplication" action of a prior item and then modifying that item. I'm wondering if there was an internal field carried over that triggers low stock alert, even though the number is above the actual alert number and doesn't have a different color, as others have reported.

Hi there... We have never duplicated a single item. So I don't think its related to that. The items menu as a whole seems to be getting worse all the time. We constantly have "oops, something went wrong on our end" pop up. Id say this happens close to 10% of the time when we open any item to receive inventory or check something. Some days it is so slow, just to save or open an item can take up to 15 seconds. The other thing we see after the OOPS message, is that the bar across the top of the screen returns telling us to COMPLETE SETUP... Honestly if they would stop changing appearances, colors, layouts, etc and focused on the dozens of proven issues with the square environment we'd all be a little less stressed....
