IMPORTANT CASH APP NOTICE

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, Square has cancelled all Cash App transactions, they are refunding the customer! 

 

One of our customers came in today and showed us ONE transaction was cancelled, and we could not find anything on Square to explain this, we told her to reach out to her bank to figure it out.

An hour later she was back and all 7 Transactions from October 5th to October 18th have been cancelled and funds sent back to customer. We have contacted Square and have gotten nothing but apologies and that the issue is being escalated and there is nothing they can do. I requested a to be transferred to a manager and they hung up. 

 

Reason they hung up, well the person on the line said he was recording the call and if it was okay with me, I said absolutely, I was doing the same, then he would not transfer the call because of this???? I don't know about anyone else, but this is totally unacceptable. 

 

Now we need to go through the entire month to figure out which transactions have been affected with this BS. Good Luck!

Hi @mksolana, thank you so much for patiently waiting. I’m sorry to hear about your support experience and the lack of clarity around what’s happening with the Cash App payments — I’d really like to help.

 

I’m not familiar with these payments being suddenly canceled, so I’d like to better understand what’s going on. Is this issue happening with other sellers as well, or just this one? Also, could you share what our Support team mentioned when you reached out? When you check the transaction status report, do you see these payments listed there?
