I would like to be able to show credits/trade in's on square

Hello,

In my business there are often times where customer are able to choose an option that costs them less money on an invoice and I need to be able to represent that while also applying discounts. Additionally, we often do trade in's would like that to also be represented in the invoice as well without having to change the price of our established items. For example, we may have a customer by Item A for $3000 but they traded in a product to reduce the cost by $500, they are also paying in full so we offer a 10% discount when doing so. I don't want to have that $500 trade in to be represented as a $500 discount because square seems to do the percentage discounts before the dollar amount and we do the percentage discounts last. I cannot seem to find a way to make this work without it being super janky. Does anyone have or know of a way to do this so it is not only simple but looks correct and calculates in a way that makes sense;dollar amount first then % amount?

Hi Mvedones,

Sounds like a "Feature Request" which you can submit here for future consideration - everyone has different requirements for their business's needs and if there are enough people out there who want the same features or options you're in need of, it's possible.  I'm still hoping that a suggestion of mind will implemented but, I don't think enough people out there has voiced their thoughts - anyway, there's still hope.  (At least, it sounds like you have a kind of work around.)
