I want to make invoices and estimates more than 50k. Is there a way to do this?

When I am bidding a job or sending a large invoice, it limits me to $50k.
I need to know how to get around this problem.

if the paid service allows this then I will pay the subscription. Unless this can be overcome I will be forced to use a different service.
please if anyone has an answer let me know.

making 2 or 3 invoices is what I have been doing to make my work happen but it is hard for my customers to understand that there is not a grand total on the invoice. It comes across as unprofessional.

Hi Ratonbiz,

I don't believe there's a work around other than what you have been doing - Square's policy is "All Square merchants have a per transaction limit of $50,000.  If you’d like to accept individual transactions above $50,000 each, you’ll need to split the payment into multiple installments."   PayPal would not for you either as they also have limits.  You may have to shop around for a service that has the features you need.  Perhaps others here have some thoughts.

That 50k is a limit on Square's services to all customers.  There is not a way to get around it to send more other than sending multiple invoices.  Paypal has a 60k limit.

Here is my "work around" which is completely off of Square.  Use Google Sheets Free Invoice Template.

Create a Invoice for $150,000 and just near the bottom have that if by Credit card they can not make a Payment over $50,000 within a week or something.   Same thing for the Estimate, Give them the Invoice and change invoice to Estimate.  Have it billed at $50,000 as a deposit, Then another $50,000 at halfway for the materials or as progress is being done.... and the final $50,000 upon completion for example.

I am not sure what line of work your doing but that is how banks give construction loans and some contractors like to be paid.

Then to keep track of it in Square send an invoice for the first $50,000 as Down payment to start Job XYZ estimate # whatever your called your estimate.  Then do the same when its time for the middle and final payments.   If that makes sense, since your are limited to running a $50,000 Credit Card transaction with Square.  I am not sure if that is the same if the person paid by certified amounts .... Bank Check.   My biggest purchases are about $2500 - $3000.
