A customer paid their deposit this evening but I'm not seeing the payment anywhere or in my balance. Can anyone tell me why?
Hey there @igphotobooth. I know of one possibility that might delay the payment. Check and see how the customer paid. If they paid via ACH, then the money is on its way to Square through the ACH clearinghouse system and will be deposited in roughly 5 business days. Square will put the funds in your balance once they receive them. If they paid with card, was there anything unusual about your transaction — like is it larger than usual for you, etc?

Just following up here....did the payment ever appear in your balance? Like @TheRealChipA said, there could be many factors at play here. I'll be on the lookout for your response.
Hello, I’m having the same issue but my customer paid via AMEX. Could you help me?
I'm having same issue this evening, had a customer pay 600.00 invoice and it showed immediately. Had another customer pay 1500.00 invoice and nothing in my balance. This delaying funds for a paid service is horrible.
We are working on improving the reporting here. Sharing a short survey that would help us iterate on the current reporting
