I may need some clarifying details from you. Have you opened up a UK account but are using an American ID and Address to verify your account? Or are you based out in the states and are looking to open up a UK Square account with a US address?
If you are setting up a UK account, we accept passports or a UK driver's license as forms of ID. However, we require a UK residential address, as sellers need to reside in the same country you are trying to open the Square account in. Click on this link to open up a UK account, and then click sign up on the top right corner of the page. Unfortunately, it won't be possible to open up a UK account with a US-based address.
