I need to edit payment information

A client paid with check, which is what I recorded in square. 

Well she accidentally wrote too close to the routing/account number at the bottom of the check which apparently will make the check invalid.

Ended up invoicing her for the service, but now square is going to have inaccurate information for today.  

I need to edit that payment information and there doesn't seem to be a way to do this. This is not the first time I've run into this issue of not being able to edit info

Hi @CassieLMT 

I do not believe that you can edit this information once it has been marked as paid.  That would leave the floor open for all sorts of strange activity for people all sorts of things.  In your accounting software, you should be able to make note of that or speak with youra accountant on how to best handle that, maybe a journal entry?
