I have a new phone and it won't sync with my card reader. It pairs OK but when I open the app it doesn't have the message that says "press button on reader to connect" . I press it anyway but nothing happens.
Hey lodot, welcome to the community.
Im just thinking back to when i had a similar issue, maybe try holding the button down for 10 seconds and allowing it to reset itself, then open the square app on your device and then go through the square app to connect a reader and it should connect and you should be able to use it.
