I am unable to enter payment by square charge or via square invoice. Please help what is going on?
Hello @nansenflorals, I am so sorry to hear you are having issues with payments. I want to make sure I have a clear understanding of what is going on, so I can better assist. Are you a customer trying to make a payment with a Square merchant? Or a business owner trying to charge a customer? When you have a moment can you provide some more details. If you are getting any error messages please provide a screenshot of what you are seeing. Thank you!
I am a business owner.. I use squarecharge and also invoicing from my MacBook.. plus on occasion use the reader on my phone. I mostly take order on the phone and need to manually process them. I have done this for years.. fine. Suddenly yesterday - I am unable to use square charge.. or invoicing with entering a credit card number. (the cell phone square app works fine.. but it is harder to use for me..; and I prefer my MacBook).
I can enter amount, customer, notes (products, etc) and it is fine.. when I go to manually enter the credit card on both square charge and/or invoicing.. I hit a brick wall.. nothing happens. I have rebooted the computer many times.. everything is up to date with updates. I am simply unable to enter a card (or in the even use a card that is with the customer).
What do it do? This is very frustrating.. I have rebooted everything many times.. including devices and router. Help!
Thank you! ~Nansen
