I am not receiving orders on Printful through the integration with Square

Hello. I have my square store connected to printful, which for now is where I’m creating all of my products. I have triple checked that the items are synced on printful, they are set as physical items as far as I can see, and the two stores are connected correctly. For some reason, when I have tried both times to do a test run and place an order to make sure it goes to Printful, it doesn’t. It only shows up on square. Can anyone please help? Hi, @LmClowers ! I am going to outline some troubleshooting steps below. Please let me know if you continue to have issues. 

 

  1. Verify Product Linking

    • Make sure each product in Square is properly linked to its Printful counterpart
    • Double-check that the SKUs match exactly between Square and Printful
    • Ensure variants (if any) are properly mapped
  2. API Connection Status

    • Log into your Printful dashboard
    • Go to Stores → Your Square Store
    • Check if the connection status shows as active/connected
    • Look for any error messages or warnings
  3. Product Settings

    • In Square, verify that:
      • Products are marked as "Physical Items"
      • Products have valid shipping settings
      • Pricing is properly set up
    • In Printful, confirm that:
      • Products are published and active
      • Products are properly synced (should show a green checkmark)
  4. Common Solutions

    • Try disconnecting and reconnecting the integration:
      1. Go to Printful dashboard
      2. Navigate to Stores
      3. Disconnect Square
      4. Wait a few minutes
      5. Reconnect Square
    • Clear your store cache:
      1. Log out of both platforms
      2. Clear browser cache
      3. Log back in
      4. Test a new order
  5. Test Order Process When placing a test order:

    • Use a new/different product
    • Try ordering as a customer (not store admin)
    • Make sure you're using a supported payment method
