How to set whole dollar amounts for suggested tips that isnt “custom”?

At my salon we have a set til amount. There are only two of us working there, small local business. The suggested tip percentages show up for every sale because every service costs more than $10. I have my stylist that works with me do a piad out and take her tips at the end of her shifts. Then i adjust her paycheck since she already took her credit card tips in cash. Every tip is a percentage so theres always coins and we are running out quickly. I have our prices at whole dollar amounts. No cents so we dont have to worry about coins usually. I would like to set the suggested tips at $5,$10,$15 instead of the percentages that always have 65 cents or 72 cents. It sounds like a non issue but it is kind of driving us crazy. If we could have whole dollar amounts no cents then the bank deposits also wouldnt need coins and less bank runs during business hours to get more coins for the cash drawer.

Hey @Moon2319.  This falls into the category of a feature request.  There is no way at all right now to do what you want.  So, you’ll need to head over to the Ideate Board and submit a feature request to the Point of Sale team.  They will review it and start an evaluation process.  Keep in mind that this will only start a process.  Changes like this, IF they are accepted, will be placed on the roadmap for a future update.

For now, the only workaround you have is to have your stylists round down to the nearest dollar when they take tips out of the drawer.  Then when you make the adjustments there will obviously be the remaining coinage left as tips to be paid in their checks.  I wouldn’t think that would be too much of an issue, honestly.
