How to remove shipping address

I seem to be asking this question every time ... How do I remove the request for shipping address from the payment link? The "Fulfillment" page has two options: Enable Pickup and Enable Shipping. I have to choose one or the other. My link item is just a registration fee. There is nothing to ship and nothing to pick up. 

(On a side note, how to I search community forum posts for my own threads? I probably have the answer to this somewhere).

Furthermore, under "Fulfillment" it says, "These settings only apply to links selling items. Pickup is not available for events or subscriptions." This link is an event, so why is it requiring me to pick a fulfillment method? If this link is not set as an event, how to I change it to be such?
