How to fix Square Register "damaged" error and freezing issue.

The title of this thread has been edited from the original: square register updated customer display and now says its damaged and freezes register

square register did an software update on the customer display and now its comes up with customer display damaged contact square support or dismiss but the register screen is frozen also 

how do you fix this ?????

If you don't have any pending offline payments, you could try completing a Factory Reset of your Register to see if this will resolve the issue for you. If it doesn't, you'll definitely need to contact our Support team so they can investigate further for you. You can reach the team by signing in to your account and heading here.
