Hello!! I have a printer that my ipad picked up on my account that isn't mine. I travel to cafes for events and this cafe's printer suddenly appeared and I can't get rid of it. There's no option to delete it, it just says "rename"
@KpopLoyal adding on to what @TheRealChipA is saying here... This printer is listed as an Ethernet printer, which means it's physically wired to the network. The same network where your wifi access point is that your tablet is connected to. It doesn't need to be connected to bluetooth for your tablet to see it when it's physically connected. So if there is a compatible printer anywhere on the network, Square will helpfully point it out for you to configure.
Now, if you are 100% positive that this printer doesn't exist on your network, it's possible Square just didn't remove it when you left that cafe's network. I recommend signing out of the app, restarting your tablet, then signing back in. That will force the app to "phone home" and get the correct configuration loaded.
You may also be able to remove it from the Device Management section of your web dashboard: find this printer in your list, select it, then choose Forget.
Hi there @KpopLoyal. A couple of things.
First, Square is showing all print devices that are also connected to the network you are using. This printer says it is an Ethernet printer, which means someone is connected to the same network. Square can’t delete or ignore printers, since this discovery is entirely managed by your network’s router. If you want to delete the printer from discovery by Square, you need to use your router’s tools to either hide it or delete it.
Second, are you sharing a network with someone else? Because for some reason someone has physical access to be able to connect a printer via an Ethernet cable to your network. That, alone, would worry me if you think you are the only business/person using the network.
I use the cafe's wifi when I'm there during the event. There is no physical connection to my ipad. There's no way I can access the cafe's router either. So, I have no idea how "Ethernet" is being used when it's bluetooth.

I’ll have to see if that works by restarting the iPad. I’ve tried to “forget it” on web and it didn’t disappear.
I figured it out! I had to uninstall the POS app on the ipad and reinstall it.
