How to comp in appointment?

Hoooow do I comp through the appointment app? I have figured out how to apply the comp to both items and services through the square app, but not through the appointment app via terminal? Help please 🙂

Thanks for hanging in there! I've confirmed that comps aren't available through Appointments, but you can process them through Transactions.

That seems strange. 
So how can I check out or finalise an appointment but comp it? A discount code is not ideal because of how it shows on reports. I can see old threads from 2017 that are asking about comps in appointments…is this something you are hoping to add as a feature since it has been a request for 9 years?
