How to change the wording on email notifications sent for confirmation, processing and shipping etc

I want to know how I can change the wording specific to my business on the emails that are send during confirmation, shipping processing etc.

I want to be able to control the details on the email.

Hey @thekandyvault, I'll be happy to help with this.

Before we dive in, one thing to note is there isn't a way to edit the populated text for the emails. The preview you see also includes various pieces of information that can be applied to all order types. However, when customers receive the email, they’ll only be shown information relevant to their order and fulfilment method e.g. if it's a pickup, delivery or shipping order. Elements like pickup instruction, amount, notes, etc. will be tied to the actual purchase/order information.

You can still add extra text elements, photos, videos and make design changes from your Square Online site overview. To do so, head to Communications > Email & Text Alerts and click on the three-dot next to the email you wish to edit.

I hope this will help!

Thank you for sharing this @thekandyvault, I'll make sure to share this with the appropriate Product team as a feature request as well.

In order to see what the confirmation emails look like for different fulfilment type, the best thing to do is to put through a test order yourself. You can create a voucher for the order amount so that you won't have to pay for it.

Just a quick now: for pick up orders in particular, you can specify the pickup instructions under Fulfilment > Pickup & Delivery > Pickup settings.
