How do I change the system status of an estimate from "never expires" after sending?
I created and sent an estimate w/ due dates. I also added verbiage advising the client the estimate expires in 90 days.
However, after sending the Estimates dashboard shows the status of the estimate as "never expires" ? I do not recall setting anything within the estimate to "never expires". When attempting to edit the estimate, I can not locate how or why this status is pulling through.
You'll want to head back in to the estimate section. You can click the 3 dots to the right hand side of the expiration column, and click Edit. The field to change the expiration on estimates will be your last screen, before you Send/Update and will be labeled Communication. You can change that to the correct day needed for expiration and click Update.
I'm not sure if they will see exact verbiage that says no expiration, but they also won't see the correct expiration date.
