How to change order pick up date and time after order made and paid

My customers make orders online. The default/earliest time for pick up/delivery is 1 business day but they can change for a future date unto 3 months when ordering. When they 'forget' to change the date, how can I change this on my end so the order is correct for tracking and daily limits?

From my testing, it's not possible to change the date a customer has chosen to pick up their order. I can imagine how frustrating this would be when customers accidentally enter the wrong date. 

 

Right now, certain integrations with food delivery options allow you to delay orders e.g if you're particularly busy and orders are taking a little longer than expected. If this is you, check out these steps to delay an order.
