How long does Beta approval take?

I'm switching to Square for my 2 coffee shops in London, however the lack of ingredient tracking prevents me from implementing the full change over. I requested access to the Beta Ingredient testing, and now just waiting. Obviously I don't want to pay £200-£300 month for marketman or other thrid-party software.

Hi @MichaelUK, I see you are new to the Square Community. Welcome!

I went ahead and sent over your information to our Beta team to give them a heads up that you have not heard back.

They said that they review Sellers weekly to make sure that Sellers meet the requirements to participate in the beta. For now though, they said you are welcome to join the test group here.

Thank you Sammie, I requested to join the test group a few days ago. Hopefully I'll be approved soon.

@MichaelUK it can take a few days/weeks depending on how many people are in the test group. I would if you haven't already look to signup up for a Square account and use the trial period for particular services so you can test run the system to make sure the features etc. (excluding the ingredient tracking) meet your business needs.
