Hi - I have individual units as items in my inventory. However, I want to sell them as packs of 5, 10, 20 etc. How do I setup multiples so when a customer buys (e.g a pack of 20) how does it reduce stock my 20 units? Many thanks
Hi @AbbyAnderson, thanks for your post! At the moment, it isn't possible to setup a pack made off different items and track inventory that way with Square. It's something that our team are looking into building out for Square so I'll definitely pass your feedback to them!
Brilliant - thanks for your reply. Looking forward to seeing the release....preferably soon as I did see after my post, others had asked the similar question 😊
Hi
The best way to set up packs and do inventory or stock count is to have stock separate just for packs. For example - if you have packs of 5 of similar items you could have 15 items on stock count just for the packs. This would mean you would have 3 packs available. Similar to having mixed items if you have separate stock just for packs only and not for the individual items you can make an inventory or stock count just for those items. I hope you can understand what I am trying to say. It may be a more expensive way of doing it as you have to buy in more stock but I think it may work. This is what I may do for my online shop.
Thank you for popping in with this suggestion, @Jayne64 - we love to see tips like this ✨
