How do you advertise besides buying adverts?

Hey there. I'm getting back into the swing of things after a two-year hiatus and trying to expand my Square site more than my Etsy store. My main question is how do you advertise your site? I don't mean buying adverts with Facebook/Meta or other social media sites, more like outside of that. Did you have any success by wearing shirts with your business on them? Car stickers? Festivals, fairs, or conventions?

Instagram give-aways work well for a lot of the makers in our studio 🙂

Depends on who you are trying to advertise to.  I have local ads to attract vacation customers to our store.  And then we have the website we inform people of to order from when they are not in the area.

Goggle Maps, Bing Maps, Yelp and Youtube have helped us a bit.  We've also done local outdoor markets - when the weather is good so are the sales.  And word of mouth via customers is also very helpful.
