How do i rectify an overcharge.

My co worker rang up a 30$ sale yesterday as 30,101$  I then hit accidental charge for 30,071$ and now it has shown up as reversed but it's minus the fees and cleared my square loan and wiped out my bank savings to cover the fees. Help !!!

Hey @Recordshopppe.  Sorry to hear this.  But, I’m confused.  Are you saying that you charged a customer’s card $30,101 by mistake and that it was actually approved?  And then you were able to reverse that charge?

If that is the case and your luck was so bad that the customer actually had a $30,000 credit limit (wow), then you’ll need to get on the phone with Square Support ASAP.  Talk to a human being.  Don’t chat.  Don’t email.  Call.  Hopefully they can help you sort this out, but there’s nothing we can do here as fellow sellers.  This is a highly unusual case and I doubt it will be a quick fix.  Still, I definitely wish you good luck in resolving it.

So it turns out I have to eat 800$ in processing fees. And they hopefully will restore my loan terms and schedule of payments. The 30k paid off my loan which required them dipping into my bank. Which is negative now obviously. So dumb.
